Halloween in the Village by Carlsbad Beach Resorts
The Carlsbad Village Association will be hosting a family-friendly event, on Saturday, October 26th 3-6pm. It is for everyone to attend and enjoy the holiday. The first 500 participants will get a Trick-or-Treat bag to collect all their goodies.
Kids are encouraged to dress in a costume and safely trick or treat at participating businesses. There will be tons of fun activities, face painting, and photo stations. The event is dog-friendly and at 4pm don’t miss doggie costume contest. Be sure to stay at a Carlsbad pet friendly hotel, so the whole family can getaway.
Brick or Treat at Legoland
From the last Saturday of September and every Saturday night in October from 5-9pm, have a blast at the annual Brick or Treat event.
The decorated park will be full of special Halloween events perfect for all ages. Special character meet and greet, and costume contests every Saturday night. The themes for the contest are the best group, heroes and villains, and Lego theme.
Kids can trick or treat at special treat stations. Legoland is prepared with over 1 million pieces of candy to distribute.
The special after-hours event which will require a separate entrance ticket.
Halloween Spooktackular Weekend at SeaWorld
From September 21st to October 27th, Sea World weekends are all about celebrating Halloween. The park will be decorated and ready for family fun.
From 2:30pm to close enjoy silly and spooky live shows, trick-or-treat stations, pumpkin hunt around the park. For families that find them all, you will be rewarded with an exclusive commemorative pin.
For the younger kids, there will be a Sesame Street Halloween parade and dance parties for every age.
The Scream Zone at Del Mar Fairgrounds
For adults and teens, the scream zone is one of the most gruesome and scariest fright fests in San Diego. Favorites include the House of Horror, the Chamber and the Haunted Hayride are all back this year. If you are with a group of people and someone is not wanting to be in the terror, then they can hang at The Scream Zone. There are food vendors and a bar. This event is not for the faint of heart: it genuinely is a bone-chilling event.
Haunted Aquarium: Sea Monster Bash
Birch Aquarium at Scripps is hosting a family weekend of Monster Fun. The last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October. Festivities will include dressing up in a costume, make your own slime, storytime, get up close and personal with amazing sea creatures. There will be a dance party.
